NHS Plus
NHS Plus, a DoH funded project concerned with raising occupational health capacity and capability has invested £10m in 5 demonstration sites as phase 1. In 2008 Strategy completed a comprehensive market research study into the SME sector to establish organisational buyer behaviour with organisations that employ between 30 and 250 staff. The quantitative phase was complemented by a qualitative study into ‘channel marketing partners’ through which the NHS could sell occupational health services. This phase consisted of in-depth interviews with senior directors of organisations such as Business Link, the EEF, MAS, UKTI, FSB, IOD, CBI and the regional development agencies. Strategy have subsequently been commissioned by NHS Plus to work with the 5 pilot Trusts to develop the national NHS occupational health proposition.
“NHS Plus, a DoH funded project concerned with raising occupational health capacity and capability has invested £10m in 5 demonstration sites. Strategy, through in-depth research and consultation helped the five sites better understand the available market opportunities and helped inform our national marketing strategy.”
